Thriving together: Flourish Wellness Collective
“Life is messy and hard for everybody, and it’s not hard because you’re doing it wrong. It’s just hard because it’s designed that way, because if it weren’t hard, we wouldn’t need each other. And needing each other is the best part of life.”
— Glennon Doyle
Our Story
Flourish Wellness Collective was founded by Lauren Scafe, LMSW, BSN-RN, and Taryn Zweygardt, LSCSW, PMH-C, in April 2023.
Mothers, social workers and advocates for women’s health, through their own personal journeys, they found that the transformative life event–parenthood–is accompanied by challenges, both physical and emotional.
A lack of resources, as well as understanding and collaboration between providers, made getting the support they desperately needed difficult and time consuming.
Together they dreamed of creating a space where providers work together to provide whole-person-care to the entire family.
Lauren and Taryn believe that when individuals and families are supported, informed and empowered that they FLOURISH.
