Our Program:

Flourish Wellness Collective’s Intern Program allows us to:

  • Reach more clients

  • Offer deeply discounted sliding scale therapy services

  • Assist students in becoming competent and informed professional counselors, marriage and family therapists, and social workers  

The program also provides opportunities for new clinicians to build soft-skills in the areas of time-management, rapport building, marketing of personal services, recognition of personal strengths, leadership, effective communication, adaptability, self-awareness, patience, and self-care.

Therapy with an Intern FAQ’s:

Are you in a graduate school for social work, psychology or mental health, and are looking to learn from therapists in the field?

We are currently not accepting anymore interns for Fall 2024!

  • Be part of the Flourish Wellness Collective team!

  • Incredible supervision from licensed LSCSW’s, LMSW’s, LMFT’s and more!

  • Participation in team meetings where you will have the opportunity to learn from therapists in the field

  • Develop advanced skills in case conceptualization and theoretical underpinnings of treatment approaches.

  • Gain experience with diagnosis, treatment planning, assessment and clinical documentation approaches.

  • Gain administrative and marketing skills related to working in a private practice.

  • Networking opportunities to build connections within community with other professionals.

  • Opportunity to attend free trainings alongside therapists to help advance your understanding and experience.

  • Opportunity for small caseload, to see individual clients (based on availablity and requirements)

What You Can Expect:

Intern Requirements:

  • Must be able to be in person weekly at our West Wichita office.

  • Be a self-starter, receptive to feedback, growth oriented and passionate about your work!

  • Must have liability insurance. Interns should either apply for insurance on their own behalf or ask their educational instituition if they are covered under their policy.
